KINGSLEY LEAGUES
We’re thrilled to officially launch the Advantage Padel Kingsley Box Leagues - your chance to compete, improve, and enjoy the thrill of padel in a fun and structured format.
What Makes Our Leagues Special?
League Structure
-
The leagues are split into different divisions, where each division has 6 teams. The number of divisions will depend on the demand.
-
You meet each team once, which gives 5 games per league so a season lasts 5 weeks.
-
Each team plays one match per week.
-
Each division is categorised by the Padel Mates levelling system and Coach discretion.
-
After each season is completed, the teams in 1st and 2nd are moved up, the 5th and 6th down.
-
We can also adjust what we believe will be the best level. Some teams may jump several divisions to adjust the level. Both up and down

League Rules
Game rules:
-
Warm Up - Max 5 minutes
-
Match time 85 minutes
-
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your matches.
-
The matches are played in 3 sets, like in tennis with a tiebreak at 6-6. With Golden Point at 40-40.
-
" Golden point " simply means that games where it says 40-40 must end with a decisive point - where the returning team gets to choose in which square the server will serve.
-
The match is over when three sets are played, or when time runs out.
-
You can change the side from which you are returning at the end of a set.
-
In each match, the players share a total of 6 points.
-
Set winner gets 2 points.
-
Unfinished sets, give the pair leading by 2 games or more 2 points and the one behind 0 points.
-
In the event of a tie, both players receive 1 point.
-
A lead of only 1 game counts as a tie. 1 point for each team.
-
When the time is up, the started ball or incomplete game, or tie-break, does not count.
-
If a pair is for any reason unable to complete the round, the opponent wins on walk over, giving 6 points to the "winning pair"
-
Remember to notify your opponents in good time if you cannot play your match; try to change the time.
Balls
-
Each team will take it in turns to provide the balls for matches, you will be notified via an icon per round if it is your pair’s responsibility. Balls should be new or nearly new.
Registration of match results
-
The players (one of them) register the results of the match, via Padel Mates. Should there be any issues, please email info@advantagepadel.co.uk
Rescheduling & Extra times
-
Each scheduled match has a ‘chat’ created on Padel Mates, please use this to discuss any issues.
-
If you cannot play at the appointed time, you must notify the opponent as soon as possible and arrange a possible change of match time. Make sure you free up the match time as soon as possible if you are not going to use it.
-
You can then book one of the limited reserve times.
-
If you cannot agree on a new match time or find a reserve, a walkover is awarded.
